POKEMON — Mar 13: Pokemon fans express concern after Pokemon lists a job for someone with NFT and blockchain expertise. In 2019, PokemonGo’s studio boss called the Metaverse a “dystopian nightmare”.
META — Mar 14: Having shut down its stablecoin project in Jan, Meta now announced it is “winding down” support for NFTs to focus on “other ways to support creators, people and business”. CoinMarketCap calls it a “huge blow” for the sector; OneLand thinks otherwise.
CHAT GPT — Mar 15: OpenAI launched ChatGPT4, causing a whirlwind of interest, shock and awe across the tech, incl. Web3 and virtual worlds. Discord is already integrating AI, and now so are Web3 metaverses like Metaverse for Humanity WEOM.
