OneLand 7-day data shows aggregate land caps in ETH for the 7 metaverse projects down (-0.27%) for a 14th consecutive week. Compared to last week’s 22.5% drop, the aggregate decline in trading volume eased this week to 6.36%, while holders remained steady. All projects’ land caps were down for the week, except for Decentraland and Somnium Space.

Metaverse Seoul

South Korea’s capital Seoul launched a closed test run of its metaverse project ‘Metaverse Seoul’, featuring a virtual reconstruction of its city hall and Seoul Plaza. Test users will take part in activities such as interacting with virtual animals, reading books and playing games.
The R3al Metaverse

A new reality parody show The R3al Metaverse launched, in which characters from famous NFT collections including BAYC, Cool Cats, Robotos, World of Women and Doodles step out of the virtual world to experience life into the physical world of L.A. Watch it here:
Camespad

Gaming, NFT & metaverse ecosystem Gamespad published its Metaverse Industry Report 2022. The report claims that all businesses can have their share in the metaverse but will need a comprehensive strategy to succeed.
Genies

Metaverse avatar startup Genies rolled out ‘The Warehouse’ NFT fashion marketplace. Each time a creator sells an item, they will receive a part of the revenue due to the intellectual property rights of their designs.
Proof

NFT collective Proof announced it successfully raised $50 million in a Series A funding round. The round saw participation from companies like Ventures and Collab+Currency, and was led by Andreessen Horowitz.

Stageverse

Social metaverse Stageverse Land and Prism NFTs went live on OpenSea. There are a total of 200,000 land plots in Stageverse, and will be sold in phases starting from the center of the map, with the initial phase sold within a short timeframe.
Decentraland

Dolce&Gabbana’s Disco Drip NFT Collection was listed on OpenSea. The 20-look digital collection gives owners access to metaverse wearables that correspond to each look, beginning with Decentraland.
Voxels

Voxels listed a big parcel on the marketplace. The huge waterfront site located beside VOXCON is currently the biggest parcel in OpenSea.

The Ocean Meta hosted a shark educational event in Decentraland, featuring shark facts and underwater shark photography. The first 10 people to find each question hidden in the gallery and submit all 10 correct answers won an NFT.

MetaGameHub DAO, NRverse & MoonBash held the 1st carbon-neutral metaverse event in Decentraland. MGH DAO provided its LANDs and dev expertise, MoonBash coordinated performances and giveaways while NRverse offered a scalable solution to switch to renewable energies.
